REVIEW
Just realised that this is my 100th post!
We were in search of a place to have dinner when we chanced upon Gami Chicken on Little Lonsdale Street. It does not have an obvious sign nor does it have an alluring layout. But we decided to give it a try as we remembered that many of our friends raved about their KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and provided astonishing reviews.

The menu was rather limited but we were there for the famous chicken (duh!)! Before the star of the night arrived on our table, I ordered a mug of their signature Gami Beer. It was light, refreshing and ain’t bitter!
I was worried that we might be eating too much meat without any vegetables. My worry was put to rest when we were presented with a plate of sliced cabbage topped with mayo and tomato sauce and a small bowl of pickles. They provided the necessary balance and different experiences on your palate.
Tadaaaaa! The much awaited dish: Half/Half Fried Chicken in the flavour of Sweet Chilli and Sweet Soy Garlic. The chicken was not too deeply fried and the meat was tender, maintaining its moisture well. The sweet chilli sauce provided the right amount of spiciness and twist whereas the sweet soy garlic tasted normal, nothing fancy to be honest.
Overall, the food was pretty all right, indeed their KFC was better than the ones I had at Oriental Spoon! On a side note, GC does not have many seats available, so if you want to secure a table for a sizeable group, it is advisable to make a reservation well in advance. (I actually saw many patrons being turned away as they did not make any bookings while we were having dinner!) However, it is good to know that you can always fall back on their delivery service!

Congrats on your 100th post!
Hey Lil! Thank you very much for your continuous support and encouragement! <3
I discovered this place last week and thinking about it makes me drool a little.
I loved the chicken and the beer (maybe a little too much, or that could have been the alcohol speaking) hahaha
I just revisited it today! The chicken was the best I have tried in Melbourne so far!
