REVIEW
With its alluring smell and delicious looking BBQ Pork hanging at the front of the cafe, I am always tempted to walk right in and order a serving whenever I walk past it. Finally, I made an effort to head to P to have dinner. We were directed to our seats quickly, the restaurant does no have any fancy decorations but simple tables and chairs. It felt like more of a foodcourt than anything else.As mentioned, I ordered a mixed platter of Roasted Chicken and BBQ Pork as my first dish. The chicken was soft and very tender; the skin was tasty and chewy; however, it was more on the oily side of things than anything else.
Next, we decided on Five Spices Calamari: it was too salty for me on the very first mouth (saltier than the saltiest chips I have ever tried!) but mixing it with rice and meat, it actually balanced out the strong taste. In addition, the calamari was chewy and fresh; I love the crackers laid at the bottom which provided a different texture to the palate.
Affordable and slightly above standard affair in the city! BBQ Pork was done the way I like, maybe they should slice it a bit more thinly? On a side note, I actually ordered Taro Milkshake but I reckon the waiter got it wrong as I was served Taro Milktea instead. T_T

Roast Chicken dishes here are usually pretty good, maybe I’m just used to the oily bit
