REVIEW
What should you do on a bright and sunny spring weekend? Of course, you kick start the day with a good ol’ brunch! There’s a new kid on the scene in Richmond, Niche on Bridge.
We were greeted by friendly staff at the door and shown to a table swiftly. The menu was extensive and we were spoilt for choice. Not to forget, they serve their breakfast menu until 5pm, so for those late risers, you are in for a treat.
First, we had Our Eggs Benny: two poached eggs, ham off the bone and an apple hollandaise on toasted brioche. The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was yummy with a twist of apple sweetness. The brioche was fluffy and soft too.
Next, we had Ricotta Dutch Pancakes with pistachio caramel and pomegranate. The presentation was magnificent and vibrant in colours! The pancakes were done the way I like, with the pistachio and pomegranate, they gave an interesting texture to every bite. Not only that, the fresh blueberries and raspberries provided a great contrast of citrus to the sweet item. Love it!

All in all, I am pleased with our experience at NOB. I will definitely go back and try out the rest of the tempting menu! =] Their food presentation is one of the best I have seen so far too…

The pancakes look BEAUTIFUL. Wow! I’m not one to order sweet dishes for breakfast or brunch but I think this will be the first thing I’ll look for on the menu when I finally get to try this place.
PS. Any idea why they’re called ‘Dutch’ pancakes?
the pancakes looked and tasted amazing! it’s a must try…
as for why they are called ‘Dutch’ pancakes, i reckon it has something to do with the way they are made/prepared? but i did a google search: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pannekoek apparently they are thinner…
